Rack Scanner Cryo.s Greiner Bio-One

With the Cryo.s™ Rack Scanner, Greiner Bio-One provides an optimum solution for scanning Cryo.s™ with Datamatrix and Cryo.s™ Biobanking tubes in ANSI-formatted racks. Its short scanning and decoding time of 8 – 10 seconds per rack together with the anti-fog treatment on the inside scanning surface predestinates the scanner for reading tube and rack IDs on frozen samples. Furthermore, the scanner features an inside temperature control which can optionally be turned on and off in order to regulate the scanner temperature during times of exposure to frozen sample racks.

The scanner comes with a comprehensive software package comprising the following functions:

• Scanning of 2D barcodes on tubes and racks, output of decoded barcode and rack ID
• Rescan or manually edit barcode data
• Single tube scan displays 2D code on screen and pastes into any open application
• Customisable data output files (e. g. .csv format)
• SDK and ActiveX toolkits are included to enable transfer of output files directly to sample management software, LIMS or to integrate with other laboratory robotics
• Lifetime upgrades guaranteed for software
