Headspace Precision Thread Vials ND18

The times when precision thread vials were mainly used on instruments with magnetic transport mechanism are over. In order to exclude difficulties and risks of a crimping process, instrument manufacturers are striving to make the closing process of the sample bottle and the associated tightness safer and more reproducible.

PerkinElmer has now added precision thread vials to its product range for all TurboMatrix 16, 40 and 110 autosamplers built after 01.09.2006.

This means that almost all current headspace autosamplers (Agilent, CTC, Gerstel, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu, Varian) now offer the possibility of using these vials, which can be used universally for headspace + SPME. Another advantage is the thinner septa compared to the crimp caps, which are easier and more gentle on the needle to penetrate.
