Dichloromethane-d2 ZEOtope Zeochem
Dichloromethane-d2 is a widely-used solvent for proton and carbon NMR analysis, but also used as a solvent in the chemical synthesis of deuterium-labelled compounds or in mass spectrometry to improve the ionization of certain molecules. The use of Dichloromethane-d2 can offer some unique advantage specifically for NMR applications.: Non-polar: is a non-polar solvent, which means it is a good solvent for non-polar compounds. Examples of non-polar compounds include hydrocarbons, fats, oils, and waxes. Low viscosity: has a low viscosity, which improves the quality and reliability of the data obtained in NMR measurements. The benefits are better mixing with the sample, faster diffusion, reduced line broadening, and minimized solvent peaks.
