Sapphire PCR low profile tubes provide a well volume of 0.1 ml. This leads to a reduced dead volume between sample and heated lid. The condensation on the walls of the PCR reaction tubes during PCR is minimised resulting in lower evaporation rates. Sapphire low profile PCR tubes are recommended for volumes below 20 μl and have a universal fit for many FAST, real-time and standard thermal cyclers. When used in FAST PCR, Sapphire PCR tubes help to reduce the cycle time.
